I Have Nothing To Wear

The struggle is real. Every morning I sit at the front of my closet, staring up at my clothes and simply groan, “I Have Nothing To Wear!” This is an internal struggle I deal with and naturally felt the need to turn to design to fix all my problems. I Have Nothing to Wear is a book designed to organize my thoughts when I’m having a rough morning as well as help others with the same issue. Each set of clothes I illustrated used watercolor techniques on photo taken textures. The combination of photos and gesture illustrations is a successful way to initiate imagination and relate to the real world. The cover and starting pages are used to relate to viewers thought processes and imagination of what someone is going to wear. My illustrations inspire from the fashion world as most clothes designers sketch long thin figures to model their clothes.
